I came across these photos of my mother from the mid 1960's and they look like something out of a Kate Spade photoshoot. As I look closely at the details, I am in awe of way they are dressed and the carefulness in each of the settings. And it makes me nostalgic for a period of fashion I never knew. How many of us have posed on the sofa with a friend and her baby -- does it look like this? (sigh)
